Where can i apply for a 2-track program i.e. pediatric residency & masters in public health at the same time

Where can i apply for a 2-track program i.e. pediatric residency & masters in public health at the same time?
I am a recently licensed physician interested in public heath. But i still want to train as a pediatrician. I've heard of 2-track programs but they're not that popular yet. Where can i apply? Or ask to learn more about it? Is there a program in New York?

Have you discussed this with your classmates? Typical residencies involve an extreme number of hours on the job each week, and very little rest time. It is so rigorous that I seriously doubt you would have any time to attend classes, and certainly no time or energy to study. Finish your pediatric residency first, and then apply for a masters program in public health if you still feel the need. Check out this link, which I got by going to www.petersons.com then asking for a graduate school with a masters program in public health in New York: http://www.petersons.com/GradChannel/code/AcdSearchResults.asp?sponsor=1 I did a google search for "pediatric residency program new york" with the following results: http://www.stbarnabashospital.org/PME/PedsResidency.htm http://www.nycornell.org/pediatrics/residencies.html http://www.nymc.edu/GME/residencies.asp http://www.med.nyu.edu/pediatrics/residency/p://www.downstate.edu/peds/pedresidencyprogram.html Here's a site that actually ranks all the available programs: http://www.residentphysician.com/Pediatrics_rankings.htm Hope it all works out for you.

I thought that a masters in dental public health is an internship program you took after getting you dental degree which awards the masters degree. Dentists skip the masters degree normally. A masters in public health is a program you take after your bachelors degree. There could easily be other setups that I am not aware of.

Do you have a bachelors in public health? Have you been able to find any good jobs in the field? My wife has a bachelors in public health and has had a very hard time finding anything in the field.
